WITH YOU IN MIND

As a salon owner since 19, I know what a grueling 12-hour day looks and feels like behind the chair. I know all too well the emotional, physical, and creative exhaustion after a hard day’s work. I know the stamina that’s required after one year, five years, and even 20 years. This industry is not for the weak of heart!

“Little did I know one moment of reinvention would change my life forever. All it took was a Pinterest request, two trash bags, a pillow, and a bright idea”.

HOW CCS WORKS

1. PREP

Section the hair. We love U-shaped sections because the fluidity is seamless when working the entire surface area of the head. *Twist your canvas to work areas behind the left and right ear.

2. POSITION

Adjust the height of your canvas by turning the knob located on the stem of your hydraulic chair. The crest of your canvas should be at a 45-degree angle and just below your guest's nape. The bottom of your canvas should be at hip level so you're comfortable.

3. PLAY!

A brief overview: No matter what method you choose to implement, whether it's balayage, tesaylites, foiling, etc., you will start at a 45-degree angle and slowly adjust the pitch of your canvas as you work up the head of the hair (keep tension of canvas mildly tight; this knob is located under the canvas). Once you reach the crown, your pitch should be at maximum capacity. Use your canvas at maximum capacity until you foil the Mohawk area. When you need to personalize all areas around the face, lower your canvas to a tabletop position so that it hovers over your client's shoulders. Place all foil, etc., on top of the canvas and work comfortably in front of your guest without leaning.

You and your clients will love it!
